WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Middlebelt Road in West Bloomfield Township has reopened following a pedestrian car crash.
The crash occurred on Monday (Sept. 23) in the area of Squar Lake Road and Middlebelt Road.

West Bloomfield Township Fire and police units were immediately dispatched to that area and began aiding the victim.
Officials say the victim was transported to an area hospital with severe life-threatening injuries but is expected to survive.
Middlebelt Road was shut down in all directions between Orchard Lake Road and Square Lake Road.
