WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Middlebelt Road in West Bloomfield Township is closed following a pedestrian car crash.
The crash occurred on Monday (Sept. 23) in the area of Squar Lake Road and Middlebelt Road.

West Bloomfield Township Fire and police units were immediately dispatched to that area and began aiding the victim.
Officials say the victim was transported to an area hospital with severe life-threatening injuries.
Middlebelt Road is shut down in all directions between Orchard Lake Road and Square Lake Road.
Officials ask everyone to avoid the area until the investigation is complete and the roadway reopens.
