DETROIT – Police are offering a $500 reward for information regarding a Detroit armed robbery.
According to authorities, it happened at about 4 p.m. on September 7 on Eight Mile Road. Police said the 42-year-old rideshare driver dropped off the suspect at his destination, who then demanded at gunpoint the driver’s wallet, money, cell phone and car keys.

The suspect then fled in the victim’s 2014 Honda Accord, which has since been recovered.
Police describe the suspect as being a slim man in his 20s standing between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches. He had a tattoo on the right side of his neck and on his right forearm.
