DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons and rapper Big Sean teamed up for a kickback to unveil their new sponsorship with StockX, an online marketplace allowing customers to buy and sell clothing and sneakers for men, women, and children.
The kickback occurred on Wednesday (Sept. 25), when Big Sean, the team’s creative director of innovation, revealed the team jersey with the new StockX patch.

The Pistons hired Big Sean in December 2020. The role requires him to provide creative counsel and guidance on various off-court initiatives for the championship organization.
During his signing, Big Sean had his “Don Life” globe logo on the Pistons practice jerseys.

The Pistons invited the Detroit community to the large-scale event in Campus Martius Park.
The community-driven event was free and featured activities showcasing the best of Detroit’s offerings, along with the Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean and former No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham.
The event also featured former Pistons guard and 2004 NBA champion Lindsey Hunter, Michigan Wolverines legend and former basketball star Jalen Rose, StockX CEO Scott Cutler, StockX COO and President Greg Schwartz, Pistons Vice Chairman Arn Tellem, and Pistons President of Basketball Operations Trajan Langdon.

According to reports, the StockX partnership is a multiyear deal that will take effect this upcoming season.
