Secunda requested near the end of his life that his art be preserved, explored and enjoyed by everyone. Through the grant funds, Cleary University aims to secure the preservation of over 800 pieces of art while also cataloging, digitizing, restoring, framing and reframing his work to protect them.

The university said the funds will also be used to hire an art curator and partner with local museums and institutions for long-term preservation of the artwork.
