The source of the fire was located on the roof, where a mechanical contractor had been working. The contractor had used a fire extinguisher to knock down the flames before the arrival of firefighters.
Fire crews extinguished the remaining hot spots on the roof. Authorities said the fire was contained to the roof and caused damage to electrical components and that the interior of the building only had light smoke haze and odor.
Authorities believe the fire was caused by electrical arching and the power to the building was cut off as a precaution.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
