ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Democratic vice presidential candidate Governor Tim Walz is heading to Michigan on Saturday to attend the upcoming University of Michigan game against the University of Minnesota while also pushing students to vote ahead of the November election.
On Sept. 28, Walz will be in Superior Charter Township aiming to kick off voter registration with students, organizers and Michigan leaders. Afterward, he will attend the football game at the Big House to speak with students and campaign on behalf of the Harris-Walz ticket.

His visit will be days before the planned vice presidential debate against the Republican vice presidential nominee, Senator J.D. Vance, on Oct. 1.
