LIVONIA, Mich. – A Lucky for Life lottery winner from a ticket purchased in Livonia only has six more months to claim their prize.

A ticket matched the rive white balls drawn March 26, 2024: 18-25-34-39-48 to win a $25,000 year-for-life prize. Six months later, the prize still hasn’t been claimed.

The winning ticket was purchased at Merriman Drugs, located at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia.

“Winning a $25,000 a year for life prize is a life-changing event, we want the winner to claim their prize and they have six months left to do so,” said Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli. “While we hope to hear from the winner sometime in the next six months, if the prize goes unclaimed it will go to the School Aid Fund and that is good news for Michigan’s public schools.”

The winner can choose to collect their prize in annual $25,000 payments for a minimum of 20 years or life, whichever is greater, or a one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000.

The winner should reach out to the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect the prize. It must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.

Lucky For Life tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.

How to play Lucky for Life

Each play costs $2 and players can win prizes ranging from $3 to a lifetime of cash.

The game’s top prize is $1,000 a day for life. To win that, players have to match all five winning numbers ranging from 1 to 48 and get the Lucky Ball ranging from 1 to 18.

Players who match all five winning numbers, but not the Lucky Ball, will win $25,000 a year. Drawings take place at 10:38 p.m. every day.

Tickets may be purchased at Lottery retailers across the state and online at MichiganLottery.com.
