The charges were authorized after Michigan State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Authorities said Breitinger’s phone was searched and was found to contain multiple explicit and graphic photos and videos of children.

Breitinger’s bond was set at $50,000. His probable cause conference has been scheduled for Oct. 8.
