Everything we know so far in Warren crash that killed 2 friends, injured 2 officers

Two best friends are dead, and two police officers are badly injured following a crash early Monday morning in Warren. Since the crash, many questions remain unanswered.

The crash happened at around 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2024, on Schoenherr Road, just south of Toepfer Road—north of 8 Mile Road.

Detroit Lions break 6-game skid vs. Seahawks in high-scoring Monday Night Football track meet

The Detroit Lions snapped a six-game losing streak against the Seattle Seahawks with a 42-29 victory to cap off another shootout, which has become common between the two teams whenever they match up.

The victory on Monday (Sept. 30) also snapped the losing streak of three consecutive games dating back to 2021, where the Seahawks boat-raced defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn’s scheme 51-29.

Detroit Zoo says goodbye to one lion, welcomes another

The Detroit Zoo said goodbye to a beloved lion and welcomed another on Monday.

Binti, the first lion cub born at the Detroit Zoo in 40 years, will be moving to another zoo. Detroit Zoo said the move aims to promote the health, genetic diversity and overall sustainability of lion populations in zoos.
