PONTIAC, Mich. – A haunted attraction in Michigan has been named the “scariest” in the nation.

The Erebus Haunted Attraction in Pontiac, Michigan was ranked as the No. 1 attraction to “scare the crap out of you,” according to America Haunts.

America Haunts released a list of the top five haunted attractions for people looking for a scary experience “so intense it could lead to uncontrollable physical reactions.” They said visitors to haunted attractions on their list have been known to scream, cry, or lose control of their bodily functions.

1. Erebus Haunted Attraction

“At Erebus, guests are in for a terror so intense that even the bravest souls have been known to lose control. This four-story behemoth of a haunt specializes in pushing every boundary, forcing visitors into tight spaces, sudden drops, and heart-stopping encounters with creatures straight out of nightmares. It’s no wonder Erebus has a reputation for causing some terrified folks to clean themselves up – when the fright hits this hard, some bodies react.”

Tickets to the Erebus Haunted Attraction vary in price and start at $25. They can be purchased online or at the box office. The attraction is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., Fridays from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m., Saturdays from 6 p.m. until 12 a.m., and Sundays from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.

2. Nightmare on 13th

Spooky World is located in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Dent Schoolhouse is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
