Antisemitic flyers found across several Metro Detroit communities

At least 40 residents called to report receiving the flyers

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich.Canton Township police are investigating after antisemitic flyers were found in plastic bags in the driveways of residents Monday morning.

Officials say at least 40 residents called to report receiving the flyers.

Canton Township Supervisor Anne Marie Graham-Hudak described the bag’s contents as “Terrible, very sad and totally disgusting.”

“We’re a welcoming community that’s one of our pillars here," said Graham-Hudak. “We are totally against hatred against any group, and it’s really sad that a group is trying to divide our community, and it shows that we must stay stronger together."

The bags are similar to those found in the driveways of several other Metro Detroit communities.

Canton Township police say they are working with Oakland County officials to determine if these flyers are connected to any of the others.

They’re asking anyone with surveillance or doorbell cameras to check their footage and contact them with any information that may help. You can reach Canton Township police at 734-394-5400.
