Bridge work prompts I-75/I-94 interchange lane, ramp closures in Detroit

DETROIT – As bridge work is underway, expect lane and ramp closures at the I-75/I-94 interchange.

Plan your routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time.

The bridge structural work at the I-75/I94 interchange in Detroit will require lane and ramp closures from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, through mid-December:

• Northbound I-75 ramp to westbound I-94 will be closed
• Southbound I-75 will have the right lane and shoulder closed under I-94
• The Beaubien Boulevard ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed
• The eastbound I-94 ramp to Russell Street will be closed
• Eastbound I-94 will open three lanes from Beaubien Boulevard to Russell Street until late October, when it may be reduced to one lane
