Detroit police seeking more information on shooting in Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help in finding more information about a shooting that left one man injured.

The shooting happened in the 17100 block of Huntington on Oct. 8 sometime after 9:30 p.m. A 53-year-old man was sitting in his car when a red or burgundy Chevy Malibu pulled alongside him and shot him. The suspect then drove off northbound on Huntington.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for his injury.
