LANSING, Mich. – A White Lake man looked over his ticket about 100 times after winning the $25,000 a year for life prize in Michigan Lottery’s Lucky For Life.

Timothy Wiscombe, 59, won the prize in the Sept. 27 drawing. He bought the winning ticket at Lakeview Market at 9775 Elizabeth Lake Road in White Lake.

“I play Lucky For Life every week,” said Wiscombe. “I pulled up the winning numbers on my phone the morning after the drawing and couldn’t believe it when I saw I matched five. I must have looked over the winning numbers 100 times before finally telling my wife. Winning $25,000 a year for life is an awesome feeling!”

Wiscombe received his winnings as a lump sum payment of $390,000 instead of the $25,000 a year for 20 years or life. He plans to invest, buy a new car, finish up some projects at home and help people in need.
