PORT HURON, Mich. – Authorities seized an estimated $16.5 million worth of cocaine during a traffic stop near the Blue Water Bridge.

According to authorities, a traffic stop was conducted on a semi truck on Pinegrove Avenue at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office said the more than 370 pounds of cocaine found inside the semi truck is the largest drug bust in the sheriff office’s history.

The suspect has been lodged at the St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center and is awaiting arraignment.
