Macomb County man sends over 400 emails threatening to kill federal judge

A man is facing charges for allegedly sending over 400 emails to government entities threatening to kill a federal judge.

James Nelson Holloway II, 33, is accused of committing federal crimes after threatening to kill a federal judge.

On Oct. 22, 2024, the United States Attorney’s Office Civil Rights and the Government Accountability Office email accounts received a series of emails after law enforcement executed search warrants on Holloway.

What we know: Former Detroit Lions player shot in head while leaving gentlemen’s club

Former Detroit Lions player Josh Reynolds was shot in the back of his head and his left arm while leaving a gentleman’s club in Denver.

The shooting occurred on Friday (Oct. 18) at 3 a.m. when officials say he and his friends were followed while leaving Shotgun Willie’s around 2:45 a.m.

Early in-person voting in Michigan begins Saturday: How it works

Early in-person voting begins on Saturday in Michigan for the 2024 presidential election.

In November 2022, Michigan voters approved a constitutional amendment that gave voters the right to vote early and in person at early voting sites. The first time Michigan allowed early in-person voting for a statewide election was for the 2024 presidential primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.

Now, early in-person voting is an option for all statewide and national elections in Michigan.

What Detroit Lions’ Jameson Williams said after being suspended for 2nd time

Detroit Lions receiver Jameson Williams made his first statement since being suspended for the second time in two years.

Williams will miss the next two games -- against the Titans and at the Packers -- due to a suspension for performance-enhancing substances.

The talented wide receiver is having a breakout season, with 361 receiving yards and three touchdowns through six games.

Williams missed time in 2023 due to a suspension for violating the league’s gambling policy, so this is his second time missing games due to a non-injury-related issue.
