LIVONIA, Mich. – A Detroit man has been charged in connection to shooting two people at a Livonia bar over the weekend, police said.
Kamari Dushawn Parham, 25, has been charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder and other related charges in the shootings of a 36-year-old man and a 31-year-old, both also of Detroit.

At 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, Livonia officers responded to Snookers' Pool & Pub at 27630 Schoolcraft Road after receiving reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found the 36-year-old man near the front door with a gunshot wound to his back.
Shortly after receiving the initial report, officers also responded to the Holiday Inn at 27541 Schoolcraft Road on a report of a second shooting victim.
When they arrived at the hotel, they found the 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
They learned that the two victims were involved in an altercation inside the bar when Parham allegedly pulled out a gun and fired shots at them.
Both men were taken to local hospitals. Parham was located and arrested at Snookers' Pool & Pub.
He was arraigned and given a $1 million bond. His preliminary examination is scheduled for Nov. 14.
