Tom Barrett wins race for Michigan US House District 7, AP projects

Republican candidate Tom Barrett wins the race for Michigan U.S. House District 7, the Associated Press projects.

Barrett will be taking Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin’s seat.

Barrett served 22 years in the United States Army, served as state senator for Michigan from 2019 to 2023 and as a state representative from 2015 to 2019.
