DETROIT – The Downtown Detroit Markets in Cadillac Square have returned to the city for the holiday season.
Visitors can shop for unique gifts from local vendors and head to the Cadillac Lodge for a cozy, ski lodge-inspired hangout.

What time are the Downtown Detroit Markets open?
The markets will be open at the following times:
- Mondays and Tuesdays: Closed, except for Dec. 16-24 and Dec. 31
- Wednesdays and Thursdays: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fridays and Saturdays: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sundays: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Are the Downtown Detroit Markets open on holidays?
According to the Downtown Detroit Partnership, vendors will have the optional hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28). Besides that, they will follow this holiday schedule:
- Christmas Eve (Dec. 24): 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Christmas Day (Dec. 25): Closed
- New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31): 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- New Year’s Day (Jan. 1): Closed

The Cadillac Lodge is a space that offers visitors a warm environment with the vibe of a ski lodge.
