Marshals say Lusk ‘represents a clear danger’

Hugh Lusk (WDIV)

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force describes Lusk as standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200-225 pounds. He may be bald or have short hair.

Lusk is known to subscribe to sovereign citizen ideologies, a belief system based on misinterpretations of common law held by people who incorrectly think they aren’t subject to government statutes.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

Lusk was last seen around Lincoln Park and is possibly driving an older red Chevrolet Silverado with the Michigan license plate DE22011.

The U.S. Marshals Service said Lusk “represents a clear danger to the citizens of Detroit and the Eastern District of Michigan.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service tip line at 866-865-TIPS or its Detroit office at 313-202-6458.

Tips can also be submitted online or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
