Officials said two men flagged them down while they were on patrol, saying two men had been shot inside the recording studio.

“There is no threat to the community as the shooting happened inside the location,” said Detroit police Deputy Chief Jacqueline Pritchett.

Officers said they responded and went into the location and found three people shot—a man and a woman were found dead, and another man was found suffering gunshot wounds.

The injured man was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital, where he later died.

Detroit police said after further investigation, all three people knew each other and the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
