I-75 in Monroe County reopens following crashes

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – A few crashes on I-75 in Monroe County shut down the freeway Tuesday morning.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said northbound I-75 near Swan Creek Road closed just before 6 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2024, due to a crash.

Two left lanes on southbound I-75 near Huron River Drive were also shut down.

Following the initial crash, MDOT reported another on I-75 near I-275.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured.
