Detroit police want help identifying person of interest in deadly 2022 shooting

DETROIT – Police are asking for help identifying a person of interest who they wish to speak to about a deadly 2022 shooting.

A 32-year-old man was shot at 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2022, in the 18300 block of Ashton Avenue in Detroit. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police want to speak to the person of interest who they said was in the area at the time of the shooting and may have information.

Anyone with information about the person of interest or the deadly shooting is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up, or DetroitRewards.tv
