A water main break in Shelby Township was repaired after hours of work.
Shelby Township police posted a video of the water main break to social media at 8:59 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024. The water main break happened in the area of Schoenherr Road and 24 Mile Road.
A water boil advisory was not issued for residents.
UPDATE - The water main has been repaired and there is no boil water alert. The water main break only affected a small number of homes and the township notified all affected homeowners. *There is no need to boil water.* Please avoid the area of 24 Mile/Schoenherr, as there is a large water main break in the area.
