Here are the dates, times for holiday lights at the Detroit Zoo

‘Wild Lights’ to open for 30 nights between Nov. 23 and Jan. 5

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – The Detroit Zoo has revealed the dates and times for visitors to come and see the holiday lights during the 2024 season.

The “Wild Lights” celebration will begin Nov. 23 and last through Jan. 5. There are 30 nights available to see more than 5 million LED lights throughout the zoo.

This year’s event includes displays of giraffes, polar bears, and insects, as well as a musical light field and a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer theater show in 4D.

The Wild Lights on most Fridays and Saturdays will be open from 5-10:30 p.m., and select week nights and Sundays will be from 5-9 p.m., according to the zoo.

Santa will be available for pictures at the Wild Lights from 5-10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 5-9 p.m. all other Wild Lights nights through Dec. 23.
