2 charged for alleged involvement in Wayne County non-fatal shooting

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Two men were charged for their alleged involvement in a shooting in Inkster.

The non-fatal shooting happened at around 4 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2024, in the 26000 block of S River.

Thaijen Rockingham, 21, and Zyaire Fletcher, 19, were arrested and police took a firearm from each of them.

Both face the following charges:

  • Felonious Assault
  • Discharge of a Weapon from a Vehicle
  • Two counts of Felony Firearm
  • Malicious Use of Telecommunications Device

Rockingham is on a $50,000 cash/surety bond with a GPS tether if released. Fletcher is on a $250,000 bond with a GPS tether if released.
