BAY CITY, Mich. – An 82-year-old Michigan woman had to have her daughter check her ticket to make sure she was reading it right after she discovered she’d won a $250,000 prize playing the Michigan Lottery’s KENO! game.

The lucky player, who decided to stay anonymous, matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn on Nov. 10, according to Michigan Lottery officials. The winning numbers were 03-05-10-11-12-21-25-41-42-61.

This winning ticket was purchased at ASMS 21 LLC, at 1500 Cass Avenue in Bay City.

“I have special sets of numbers for all the draw games that I play, including KENO!,” said the player. “I checked the winning numbers on MichiganLottery.com after the drawing, and when I saw all 10 of my numbers, I thought: ‘Am I really seeing this?’ I had my daughter come over and look at my ticket to make sure I was reading it right. Winning is an amazing feeling and is going to provide a sense of financial security.”

She plans to buy a new car and then save the rest of her winnings.

Players can buy KENO! tickets for $1. They then select 10 numbers from one to 80 for the chance to win prizes up to $250,000.
