Who killed Quincy Walker? Family of Detroit man still searching for answers 25 years later

DETROIT – A family is still searching for answers and is spending another Thanksgiving Day without their loved one who was murdered 25 years ago.

On Nov. 28, 1999, at 10 p.m., 25-year-old Quincy Gene Walker was shot and killed on Detroit’s west side in the area of Plymouth Road and Asbury Park. His wife was able to get away and call the police.

The family is asking anyone who lived or still lives in the area to call Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of Walker’s murderer.
