4Warn Weather – ‘Tis the season to be cold and snowy!
A blustery cold week is in Metro Detroit’s forecast with highs in the 30s and windchills as low as the teens at times.
Tuesday
Overnight skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Temperatures will drop into the 20s, which will make for a very cold start to your Tuesday.
We might see a few breaks of the sun early Tuesday but clouds will fill in out ahead of our next system set to bring more wintry weather to Southeast Lower Michigan.
Wednesday
Wind will pick up on Wednesday with a few scattered snow showers, especially toward the evening.
Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s but it’s going to feel like it’s in the 20s for most of the day when you factor in the 25-30mph wind gusts.
Thursday
Some accumulating snow is possible Wednesday night into Thursday.
We will need to monitor the timing closely as it could affect the Thursday morning commute.
More on that tonight at 5, 6 & 11.
