ARENAC COUNTY, Mich. – Two teens from Kentucky were arrested after shooting at someone at a Michigan gas station over the weekend.

At 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, troopers responded to the Shell Gas Station located near M-33 and I-75 in Arenac County after receiving a report about a man with a gun.

While they were heading to the gas station, 911 callers reported that the man had fired shots toward an occupied car, before driving away.

The victim, who wasn’t struck, gave a description of the two men to state police.

The investigation led authorities to two homes in Gladwin County, where they found two pistols that were used in the shooting. One of the pistols had an extended magazine and switch. The switch makes the gun capable of fully automatic fire.

The suspects, both 18, and from Kentucky, were taken to the Arenac County Jail on several offenses, according to state police.

The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office once the investigation is complete.
