ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. – The St. Clair County Drug Taskforce has made two drug-related arrests this week.
The first arrest occurred on Dec. 3 in the 1100 block of Gillett Street in Port Huron.

Officials said after attempting to destroy narcotics and physically resisting, John Poindexter, 29, of Port Huron, was arrested.
The 29-year-old was on parole after being released in November.
The Drug Task Force seized 88 grams of Methamphetamine, three grams of Fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and sales materials.
Poindexter was charged with:
- Felony – Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine
- Felony – Tampering with evidence
- Felony – Possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl
- Felony – Resisting and Obstructing
Poindexter remains at St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center after bond being set at $50,000 at arraignment.

On Dec. 4, the Drug Task Force executed another search warrant at 1000 Dunn Road in Riley Township.
The search led to Larry Rabine, 57, of Riley Township, being arrested.
Officials said the Drug Task Force seized Methamphetamine, multiple firearms and ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and sales materials with the assistance of the Special Response Team and U.S. Border Patrol K9.
Rabine is charged with:
- Felony - Possession of Methamphetamine
- Felony – Felony Firearm
His bond was set at $10,000 at arraignment on Friday. drug-related
