Judge dismisses charges against 2 Macomb County election workers accused of double voting

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A judge has dismissed charges against two Macomb county election workers accused of double voting.

The case involved allegations that the workers allowed a voter to cast two ballots in the 2024 primary election.

After reviewing the evidence, the judge ruled there was insufficient proof of wrongdoing.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced the felony charges in October.

The case against a third person is still pending.
