Police seek help in homicide investigation following stabbing on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking help regarding a homicide investigation after a stabbing that occurred on the city’s east side.

The incident occurred on April 3, 2024, in the 15200 block of Mack Avenue.

Officials said when they arrived, they entered the location and found the victim dead from stab wounds.

The victim’s car was missing from the location, but further investigation revealed that on April 2, 2024, around 4 p.m., the victim went to his place of employment for a meeting with an unknown younger Black man.

The man pictured with starter locs wore a dark puffer coat, dark graphic tee-shirt, tan pants, and dark-colored shoes.

The victim and the man entered a dark black and green Mini Cooper and left the location.
