NOVI, Mich. – Dinosaurs have long been extinct, but they’re coming back to life -- through animatronics.
Jurassic Quest, a dinosaur exhibit, transports families to a time when dinosaurs roamed the planet.
Dinosaurs spanning the Mesozoic Era welcome the youngest minds at the Suburban Collection Showplace,
“It’s phenomenal,” said Janel Walch, a grandmother. “A lot of fun. We’re having a great time.”
Families can marvel at the creatures in the wild through animatronics and performers.
The exhibit also encourages amateur paleontologists to launch fossil excavations. If children are brave enough, they can ride some of the dinos.
“We worked with real paleontologists to make sure everything is real-life-like,” said Sauve Lovely, a dinosaur trainer with Jurassic Quest. “We have almost all periods of the dinosaur era. We have from Cretaceous, Jurassic, Triassic – the late Triassic.”
Jurassic Quest’s last day at the Suburban Collection Showplace is Monday.
