GAYLORD, Mich. – Some northern Michigan communities will be getting a boost in investigating their cold cases.
Michigan State Police’s Seventh District in Gaylord announced its brand new Cold Case Team, a new operation of its Special Investigation Section. Detective Sergeant Matt Wilt will lead the team in pursuing justice and taking a fresh look at cold cases in northern Michigan using advanced DNA analysis and new investigative tech.
