BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Bloomfield Township Police Department arrested Nathaniel Christian Jones for embezzlement of more than $20,000 from Tropical Smoothie Café.
Jones was arrested on Thursday (Jan. 9) and arraigned at 48 District Court.

The incident occurred between April 30, 2024, and Sept. 18, 2024, when officials say Jones embezzled $29,745 worth of cash deposits from the restaurant at 2510 S. Telegraph Road.
Jones was issued a $10,000, 10% bond. He is due back at the 48th District Court on Jan. 21, 2025.
