When deputies arrived at the scene, they saw the naked man leaving the residence where the alleged break-in and assault occurred. When the man saw the deputies, he ran back to the home and attempted to re-enter. He then allegedly assaulted the homeowner again as the homeowner tried to hold the door shut.
While deputies were trying to get the naked man away from the door, the man allegedly assaulted the deputies and resisted arrest.
The naked man, a 34-year-old from New York whose identity has not yet been released, was eventually taken into custody and lodged at the Monroe County Jail. He faces several charges, including Home Invasion, Assaulting Police, Resisting and Obstructing and Indecent Exposure.
