DETROIT – A Highland Park man has been charged in connection to a crash that killed a Wayne State University employee last week, officials said.

Antoine Lamar Bradley, 31, of Highland Park, is accused of driving recklessly at a high speed and causing a crash at the intersection of Woodward and Warren avenues at 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

When Wayne State officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified as Sharif AliDinar, 42, of Detroit, unresponsive in the grass near the intersection.

AliDinar sustained a head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bradley allegedly disregarded the traffic signal and fatally struck AliDinar.

He was arraigned on Saturday, Jan. 11, on the charge of reckless driving causing death, and was given a $50,000 bond. His probable cause conference is scheduled for Jan. 21, and his preliminary examination is set for Jan. 28.
