Entire lower peninsula of Michigan under Winter Weather Advisory

DETROIT – A second winter storm is expected to bring snow to most of Michigan again this week.

Due to this, every single county in the lower peninsula is under a winter weather advisory from 4 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.

Once it expires, all of Metro Detroit will be under a Winter Storm Watch.

A 4Warn Weather Alert has been declared for Saturday and Sunday due to the weekend-long snowfall.

Most of the region is expected to see 3-5 inches of snow with a mix of sleet and possible ice. North of I-69 could see accumulation up to seven or eight inches.
