Police search for men involved in theft of Pistons memorabilia, laptops, cash from Detroit shop

Company is seeking support of community to help identify and locate the men

DETROIT – Police are searching for two men behind the overnight heist of Pistons memorabilia, laptops, and cash from a Detroit shop.

Officials said the two men broke into the Pingree workshop in the 15707 block of Livernois at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Police said the men stole $5,000 worth of product, all the Pingree Laptops, $500 in cash, and signed jerseys from the Detroit Pistons, which were given to Pingree Detroit to the Veterans of Hoops for Troops event.

The company is now seeking the support of the community to help identify and locate the men.
