Detroit police searching for suspects accused of hitting man with car, bat

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for the suspects accused of hitting a man with a car and a bat.

The alleged assault happened on Nov. 29, 2024, at around 12:30 p.m. after a 45-year-old man exchanged words with another man outside a gas station.

The 45-year-old victim left the area on his bicycle but was followed by a light-colored sedan driven by a woman to the 8000 block of Priest.

The woman then allegedly struck the victim with the car, knocking him to the ground. A man got out of the car and allegedly struck the victim with a bat.

Both suspects then drove away from the scene. The victim was treated and released.
