Parts of Michigan could get more than a foot of snow by Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service said the Upper Peninsula is expected to get heavy snowfall Wednesday and into Thursday.

A blizzard warning is in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for most of the Upper Peninsula, including the cities of L’Anse, Gwinn and Marquette.
It’s expected to hit Baraga and Marquette counties the hardest.
Heavy snow is expected along Lake Superior’s southern shoreline, between 8-12 inches. The Huron Mountains and Michigamme Highlands are expected to get between 14 and 20 inches of snow.
