WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – An Inkster man is facing murder and child abuse charges in the death of his 2-month-old son.

Drake Ariel Froust, 31, is accused of assaulting his 2-month-old son, Leviathan Froust, at 3 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2023, at a home in the 4300 block of Spruce Street in Inkster.

Prosecutors said Inkster police were sent to the home at 4 a.m. that morning and found Leviathan “unresponsive.” The child was transported to an area hospital.

A probable cause conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on March 12, 2025, in 22nd District Court before Judge Sabrina Johnson.
