DETROIT – Police in Detroit are looking for the person responsible for attacking a man on Detroit’s north side.

It happened Feb. 21, at home near the intersection of Sheffield Road and Norfolk Street. Police said an unknown person approached and randomly attacked a man who was shoveling snow. According to authorities, the suspect, wielding a metal pole, hit the victim in the stomach before punching the victim in the face, causing him to bleed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-267-4600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. They will remain anonymous.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information. Tips must include the case number 2502170089.
