PONTIAC, Mich. – A Flint man was struck and killed while walking across Baldwin Road in Pontiac on Friday.
The sheriff’s office said Charles Arnold O’Connor, 37, was struck by a truck while crossing Baldwin Road near Virginia Avenue in Pontiac at around 8:38 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025.
He was outside the designated crosswalk when he was struck by a Ford F-150 truck being driven by a 16-year-old girl from Pontiac.
The sheriff’s office said when deputies arrived bystanders were attempting to perform CPR on O’Connor. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy has been scheduled. The crash is under investigation.
