The charges stem from a Dec. 13, 2023, incident at Mission Point in Madison Heights, where Serraon was working at the time. According to authorities, a resident with disabilities reportedly fell and struck his head on the floor. Serraon is accused of giving the man a sedative without authorization before his fall and then falsely documenting medical care that didn’t happen after.
The man died from his injuries from the fall, leading to an investigation by the Madison Heights Police Department.
Serraon’s probable cause conference is scheduled for March 19. A preliminary exam will take place April 2.
