  1. Can you use this to get into Canada and back?
  2. Why haven’t they automatically been issuing people REAL IDs? You shouldn’t have to pay extra.
  3. Mine expires in June. How do I get the star on my license?
  4. What is the difference between REAL ID and enhanced? What does it get you?
  5. Mine expires August 2025. Can I wait to renew, or do I have to do it now and then again in August?
  6. I don’t plan on flying or going to Canada. So can I keep my ID until I need to renew it in a few years?
  7. I was at the Secretary of State a couple weeks ago. My license just has the star. She said it was fine. No need to replace it?
  8. If my license renews in 2027, do I have to get it changed before then?
  9. I foresee a lot of people trying to get on a domestic flight and being turned away after the deadline date.
