BERKLEY, Mich. – A teenager from Southfield was arrested by police in Oakland County following a police chase.
It happened Wednesday, March 12. According to authorities, officers with the Berkley Department of Public Safety attempted a traffic stop on a white Ford near 12 Mile Road, but the car sped off toward 11 Mile Road.

Police said the driver at one point threw a gun from the car, which was later recovered by officers.
Police were able to box the vehicle in and take the driver into custody.
Cameron Scott, 19, was charged with fleeing and eluding, carrying a concealed weapon and driving on a suspended license.
He was given an $11,000 bond with restriction that he cannot enter Berkley or Royal Oak for any reason outside of court purposes.
