OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – An Oakland County man has been charged after he allegedly told a 15-year-old girl he wouldn’t sell her vape products unless they had sex, officials announced.

Darren Joshua Bradford, 24, of Berkley, has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to a release from Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

The prosecutor says he allegedly coerced the 15-year-old into sex in exchange for vape products, and the sexual contact happened in the teen’s Bloomfield Township home and Bradford’s car.

Bradford is allegedly known to use Snapchat to supply high school students with vapes, marijuana and alcohol.

This comes after Bradford was arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old Grosse Pointe Park girl in February.

“The facts alleged in this case are every parent’s worst nightmare,” said McDonald. “This adult defendant appears to have preyed upon the vulnerabilities of a teenager to coerce sex from a victim who wasn’t old enough and in a position to consent.”

McDonald said that police believe there are more victims. Anyone with information is urged to contact their local police departments.
