ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – Police are investigating a homicide that took place Saturday at a multi-family home in St. Clair Shores.
It happened just after noon on Saturday at a home in the area of Roy Street and 11 Mile. Police say a man was arrested after a woman was found dead in the home.
According to police, she died of unnatural causes and that there was an altercation.
Neighbors tell Local 4 it was an adult son who killed his mother. They said the mother and son lived at the home together.
“We tried to get him out of that condo because we knew he was trouble,” a neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, said.
The neighbor said the son had a history of altercations with his mother and other neighbors.
The man who was arrested is being held at the Macomb County Jail. The case will be reviewed by the Macomb County Prosecutor.
